Matt grew up in New York before enlisting in the U.S. Army at a young age. After completing his service, he settled in Oklahoma, where he now lives with his wife, Julie, and their two children. With over a decade of experience in the automotive industry, Matt has honed his skills as a diesel mechanic. He owns and operates his own mechanic shop and works as a fleet mechanic for the Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO).
Matt’s journey reflects resilience and grace. In 2022, he became GOG’s first official Brothers Program Mentor, where he shares his wisdom, offers friendship, and provides unwavering support to fellow veterans. He also volunteers his time and expertise to offer free vehicle maintenance and towing services for veterans in need. In January 2024, Matt joined the Board of Directors for Grandeur of Grace, where he continues to dedicate his time, talents, and resources to further the organization’s mission.
