Born and raised in Michigan, Jared met his high school sweetheart, Heather, and together they embarked on a life filled with adventure and purpose. After serving five years in the U.S. Navy, Jared’s career took an unexpected turn when he was medically retired after contracting Lyme Disease. Despite this challenge, Jared’s resilience and commitment to serving others never wavered.
Now based in Jacksonville, Florida, Jared lives with his wife and their two young children, Fitzgerald and Lucy. He currently serves as a Manager for a public utility company, overseeing electric operations. With over 10 years of experience in leadership, operations, compliance, and training, Jared has built a reputation as a passionate leader with a strong focus on developing others, driving operational excellence, and supporting those in need.
In addition to his corporate role, Jared is the visionary behind ScoopJack and a managing partner of Grand Marlin Capital, where he applies his entrepreneurial spirit to make an impact in the business world.
Outside of work, Jared is a dedicated family man who loves spending quality time with his loved ones. Whether it’s exploring the great outdoors or creating lasting memories with his family, he cherishes life’s simple joys.
