Born and raised in Michigan, Brooke eventually settled down in Lawton, Oklahoma where she now resides with her husband, Chris, and daughter, Harley.
Brooke is a disabled Army veteran having experienced some of the many hardships veterans often experience when transitioning out of the military and back into civilian life. She’s a devout Christian and a zealous advocate for various social issues including homelessness, mental health, and criminal justice reform.
As Executive Director, Brooke oversees the day-to-day operations with a majority of her efforts in case management, community engagement, homeless outreach, and marketing. She has nearly a decade of experience in Christian leadership, community engagement, project management, and nonprofit organizational development. She holds a bachelor’s in Public Health from American Military University and a master’s in Christian Ministry from Liberty University’s Rawlings School of Divinity.
Brooke is a gifted writer with a passion for leading others by example. She enjoys sunshine, woodworking, spending time with her family, and going all-out to celebrate milestones with our GOG veterans as a family.
Her heart is to help other veterans come to experience the same freedom she now experiences through the grandeur of God’s amazing grace and it is through her relentless love and unyielding grace for humanity that she serves. You’ll find Brooke sitting at the sinner’s table, compassionately and empathetically connecting with every outsider, destitute, and cast-away of the world.
