Tami Sue is driven by a deep passion for giving back and making a difference. A dedicated mother of four, she has raised children who embody the values of servant leadership. Two of her children proudly serve as veterans, and Tami herself is the proud daughter of a retired Marine veteran who served two tours in Vietnam. A devout Christian with a strong patriotic spirit, she has made it her life’s mission to serve others.
As the Financial Director for Grandeur of Grace, Tami Sue oversees strategic planning and finance, ensuring the organization’s continued growth and impact. She is also the largest individual donor to the organization and dedicates countless hours to volunteering. Her commitment to service extends beyond Grandeur of Grace; Tami Sue has held leadership roles in various non-profits, consulting on strategy and business plan development, and has donated over 8,000 hours to causes such as the Salvation Army, American Red Cross, United Way, domestic violence and interfaith shelters, and local food banks.
In addition to her work with Grandeur of Grace, Tami Sue serves as the Secretary on the founding board of the Veterans Advocacy Mission of Indian River County, where she resides, and is the President of Villages for Vets, a company dedicated to providing affordable, permanent, and transitional housing for veterans.
Tami Sue’s professional journey is equally impressive. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University in Michigan, and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University. As a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Public Speaker, and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CLSSBB), she brings over 38 years of leadership experience across diverse sectors.
Her extensive career includes serving as a director in a Fortune 500 company and as a small business owner, where she led large-scale, transformational projects and multi-million-dollar Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) initiatives. Tami Sue’s expertise spans Strategic Planning, Business Plan Development, Engineering, Operations, and Budget Management, overseeing a $3B+ operating plan. Her ability to lead complex, enterprise-wide projects while maintaining a focus on mission-driven service has made her a trusted advisor and a strong advocate for the causes she cares about.
